Restart Through Faith

STEP 01

Acknowledge Where You Are

Before restarting, you need to stop. Look honestly at where you are without judging yourself. David did this in the Psalms. Job did it in the midst of pain. Honesty before God is the first step.

“I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”

Psalm 34:4

STEP 02

Understand That You Are Not Alone

Every person in the Bible that God used greatly went through moments of deep failure. Moses fled to the desert for forty years. Peter denied Jesus three times. Paul persecuted Christians. No fall disqualifies you.

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.”

Psalm 23:4

Discover Your Purpose

What you have lived through, including the falls, is part of your purpose, not an obstacle to it. Joseph was sold by his brothers, and that was the path to saving a nation. Your pain can be the doorway to your purpose.

Cultivate Faith as a Daily Practice

The faith that sustains is not a feeling that comes and goes. It is a practice. Just as the body needs daily food, faith needs regular nourishment. Learn how to cultivate it concretely.

“Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”

Let Joy Come Back

Restarting does not end at survival. It ends at flourishing. The joy that faith offers is not superficial. It is the joy of Paul in prison, of Mary singing the Magnificat, of the people of Israel rebuilding Jerusalem.
